SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:
Appropriates $275,000,000, from the Build Illinois Bond Fund to the Capital Development Board to be used for grants to private colleges and universities to defray their costs in meeting the requirements of the Fire Sprinkler Dormitory Act. Effective July 1, 2007.

AN ACT concerning appropriations.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:
Section 5. The amount of $275,000,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary is appropriated from the Build Illinois Bond Fund to the Capital Development Board to be used for grants to private colleges in Illinois to defray their costs in meeting the requirements of the Fire Sprinkler Dormitory Act.
Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, 2007.
