SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:

 

 Appropriates $5,000,000 from the General Revenue Fund to the Department of Public Health to provide funding to establish a pilot program in Kane County for the coordination of specialty health care services, pharmaceutical drug assistance, and diagnostic testing for individuals who are not eligible for medical assistance under the Illinois Public Aid Code and who do not have other health insurance coverage.  Effective July 1, 2007.

$IDPH-KANE COUNTY HEALTH PILOT

 

 

 


    AN ACT concerning appropriations.

 

        Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:

 

    Section 5.  The sum of $5,000,000, or so much of that amount as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Department of Public Health to provide funding to establish a pilot program in Kane County for the coordination of specialty health care services, pharmaceutical drug assistance, and diagnostic testing for individuals who are not eligible for medical assistance under the Illinois Public Aid Code and who do not have other health insurance coverage.

 

Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, 2007.
