AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 3967

    AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 3967, by deleting everything after the enacting clause and inserting in lieu thereof the following:

“ARTICLE 1

    Section 5.  The following amounts, or so much thereof as may be necessary, respectively, are appropriated for the objects and purposes named, to meet the ordinary and contingent expenses of the Illinois Violence Prevention Authority:

Payable from the Violence Prevention Fund:

  For Personal Services............................. 85,000

  For State Contributions to State

   Employees' Retirement System..................... 17,892

  For State Contribution to

   Social Security................................... 6,503

  For Contractual Services.......................... 38,000

  For Travel......................................... 2,700

  For Commodities.................................... 3,000

  For Electronic Data Processing..................... 1,000

  For Telecommunications Services.................... 1,000

    Total                                          $155,095

Payable from the General Revenue Fund:

  For Contractual Services.......................... 19,300

    Total                                           $19,300

    Section 20.  The amount of $145,400, or so much of that amount as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Illinois Violence Prevention Authority for the Illinois Family Violence Coordinating Council Program.

ARTICLE 999

Section 999.  Effective Date.  This Act takes effect July 1, 2008.”
