AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 3894

    AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 3894, by deleting everything after the enacting clause and inserting in lieu thereof the following:

“ARTICLE 1

    Section 5.  The following named amounts, or so much thereof as may be necessary, respectively, are appropriated to the Court of Claims for its ordinary and contingent expenses:

CLAIMS ADJUDICATION

Payable from the General Revenue Fund:

  For Personal Services............................ 145,000

  For State Contributions to State

    Employees’ Retirement System.................... 30,600

  For State Contributions to

    Social Security................................. 11,100

  For Contractual Services........................... 5,700

  For Commodities.................................... 5,000

  For Printing....................................... 3,000

  For Equipment...................................... 8,200

  For Telecommunications Services.................... 2,500

  For Judges Reimbursement.......................... 35,300

    Total                                          $246,400

    Section 10.  The amount of $111,700, or so much of that amount as may be necessary, is appropriated from the Court of Claims Administration and Grant Fund to the Court of Claims for administrative expenses under the Crime Victims Compensation Act.

ARTICLE 999

Section 999.  Effective Date.  This Act takes effect July 1, 2008.”.
