SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2     WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate wish to express
3 their sincere condolences to the family and friends of Frank
4 Fourez of Christopher, who passed away on October 1, 2006; and
 
5     WHEREAS, He was born on September 11, 1925, in Christopher,
6 to Frank and Mary (Bial) Fourez Sr.; he was united in marriage
7 to the former Lawanda B. Evilszier on June 29, 1946; they
8 recently celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary; and
 
9     WHEREAS, He was a World War II Navy veteran; he was retired
10 from Central Wholesale Liquor Company after having worked there
11 for over 39 years; and
 
12     WHEREAS, He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his
13 family; he was an avid sports fan and enjoyed watching his
14 favorite teams, the Chicago Cubs and any team playing the
15 Cardinals; and
 
16     WHEREAS, The passing of Frank Fourez has been deeply felt
17 by many, especially his wife, Lawanda; his children, Ricky W.
18 Fourez and his wife, Yvonne, Randall D. Fourez, Bunny L.
19 Fourez, Tami G. Price and her husband, Roger, Rodney D. Fourez
20 and his wife, Francie, and Darrin K. Fourez; his sister, Mary
21 Kaminski; his daughter-in-law, Sue Fourez; his grandchildren,
22 Jolie L. Ramsey, Larry A. Fourez Jr., Jacqueline S. Miller,
23 Johnny F. Fourez, Eric D. Fourez, Amy L. Johnson, Cameron R.
24 Fourez, Jamie L. Randll, Christopher M. Price, Abbie N. Price,
25 Meghan M. Fourez, Rodney D. Fourez II, Jared D. Fourez, Dylan
26 K. Fourez, Zeke A. Fourez, his great-grandchildren; his
27 great-great-grandchild; his two great-great-grandchildren that
28 are expected in 2007; and his several brothers-in-law,
29 sisters-in-law, nieces, and nephews; he was preceded in death
30 by his parents and son, Larry A. Fourez Sr.; therefore, be it

1     RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL
2 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
3 Frank Fourez, and we extend our sincere condolences to his
4 family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
5 further
 
6     RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
7 presented to his family as an expression of our deepest
8 sympathy.
