SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2     WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate were saddened
3 to learn of the death of Frank (Bunny) Fourez Jr., 81, of
4 Christopher, who passed away on Sunday, October 1, 2006; and
 
5     WHEREAS, Frank (Bunny) was born Sept. 11, 1925, in
6 Christopher, the son of Frank and Mary (Bial) Fourez Sr; and
 
7     WHEREAS, He married Lawanda B. Evilsizer on June 29, 1946,
8 in Christopher; they celebrated their 60th anniversary earlier
9 this year; and
 
10     WHEREAS, He was retired from Central Wholesale Liquor
11 Company, where he worked for Mr. Hyman A. Rubin and Mr. Ronald
12 T. Rubin for more than 39 years; and
 
13     WHEREAS, Frank Fourez was a veteran of World War II,
14 serving the United States Navy; Frank enjoyed fishing and
15 spending time with his family; and
 
16     WHEREAS, Frank was an avid sports fan; His favorite
17 baseball teams were the Chicago Cubs and any team that played
18 the Cardinals; and
 
19     WHEREAS, Frank (Bunny) Fourez, Jr. was preceded in death by
20 his oldest son, Larry Alan Fourez, Sr. on January 5, 1998; he
21 is survived by his loving wife, Lawanda B. (Evilsizer) Fourez
22 of Christopher; his six children, Ricky W. Fourez and wife,
23 Yvonne, Randall D. Fourez, Bunny L. Fourez, Tami G. Price and
24 husband, Roger, Rodney D. Fourez and wife, Francie, and Darrin
25 K. Fourez; his sister, Mary Kaminski; his daughter-in-law, Sue
26 Fourez; his 15 grandchildren, Jolie L. Ramsey, Larry A. Fourez
27 Jr., Jacqueline S. Miller, Johnny F. Fourez, Eric D. Fourez,
28 Amy L. Johnson, Cameron R. Fourez, Jamie L. Randall,
29 Christopher M. Price, Abbie N. Price, Meghan M. Fourez, Rodney

1 D. Fourez II, Jared D. Fourez, Dylan K. Fourez, and Zeke A.
2 Fourez; his 18 great-grandchildren; one great-great
3 grandchild; his two great-grandchildren expected in February
4 2007, and several brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and
5 nephews; and
 
6     WHEREAS, He leaves behind his extended family including
7 Ron, Pam, and Todd Rubin and Julie and Jay Lieberman;
8 therefore, be it
 
9     RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL
10 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with
11 his large family and many friends, the passing of Frank (Bunny)
12 Fourez, Jr. and extend our deepest sympathies; and be it
13 further
 
14     RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
15 presented to the family of Frank (Bunny) Fourez, Jr.
