SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2     WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the State of Illinois
3 learned with regret of the death of Janet Doreen Turner of
4 Gurnee on March 30, 2006; and
 
5     WHEREAS, She was born on June 4, 1953, in Kingston,
6 Jamaica, to Cyril and Lucille Bailey; she graduated from Zion
7 Benton High School and attended the College of Lake County; and
 
8     WHEREAS, She was employed at Abbott Laboratories for nine
9 years; and
 
10     WHEREAS, She was an avid reader and enjoyed spending time
11 with her family and friends; she was always the life of the
12 party and full of fun and will be missed, always loved, and
13 never forgotten; and
 
14     WHEREAS, The passing of Janet Doreen Turner has been deeply
15 felt by many, especially her supportive ex-husband, Richard
16 Turner; her mother, Lucille Bailey; her daughters, Sheree
17 (Dennis) Dunn, and Doreen, Camille, and Dia Turner; her son,
18 Kevin Turner; her sisters, Diana (Minister Arthur) Banks and
19 Arlene (Roger) Brown; her brother, Hubert Bailey; her grandson,
20 Brandon Farmer; her granddaughters, Brittany and Alexis
21 Frierson; and her many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and
22 friends; she was preceded in death by her aunt, Geraldine Lee,
23 and her father, Cyril Bailey; therefore, be it
 
24     RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL
25 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
26 Janet Doreen Turner, and we extend our sincere condolences to
27 her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it
28 further
 
29     RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
