SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2     WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the State of Illinois
3 learned with regret of the death of Christine Marie Forwe of
4 Mundelein on Sunday, January 8, 2006; and
 
5     WHEREAS, She was born on July 13, 1975, to George and Judy
6 (nee Glogovsky) Forwe; and
 
7     WHEREAS, Ms. Forwe showed competitively in AKC and UKC dog
8 obedience and agility competitions from a power wheelchair, and
9 often she brought home ribbons; in 1995, she did a freestyle
10 demonstration in York, Pennsylvania; on Sundays, she would
11 often visit nursing homes with her Shelties; she was often seen
12 about town with her Sheltie that she had personally trained to
13 be her service animal; and
 
14     WHEREAS, She became interested in dog activities as a
15 member of the 4-H Tailwaggers, which included participation in
16 parades and local and State dog shows; she was a member of the
17 WI-IL Agility Group and trained at Foster's Obedience Center;
18 she will be missed by her Shetland Sheepdogs, Tiffany and Cory,
19 as she joins her canine angels, Oliver, Glossy, Elizabeth, and
20 Emily; and
 
21     WHEREAS, In addition to her precious dogs, the passing of
22 Christine Marie Forwe has been deeply felt by many, especially
23 her parents; her paternal grandma, Mary Forwe (nee Plaslenski);
24 her cousins who were like siblings, Cindy, Mark, Kim, John,
25 Mike, Lynn, Colleen (also her godmother), Bob, Jimmy, Cathy,
26 Mike, and Lisa; her godfather, Larry; her godson, Jordan; and
27 her special friend, Emma; she was also preceded in death by her
28 paternal grandpa, George Frowe Sr.; her maternal grandpa, Anton
29 Glogovsky; her maternal grandma, Frances Glogovsky (nee
30 Witek); her stepgrandma, Margaret Glogovsky (nee Stouffer);
31 and her very dear great-aunt, Marcy Witek; therefore, be it

1     RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL
2 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
3 Christine Marie Forwe, and we extend our sincere condolences to
4 her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it
5 further
 
6     RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
7 presented to her family as an expression of our deepest
8 sympathy.
