SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2     WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the State of Illinois
3 learned with sadness of the death of Catherine C. Bohn of
4 Brandon, Mississippi, formerly of Alton, on November 19, 2005;
5 and
 
6     WHEREAS, Mrs. Bohn was born April 10, 1912, in Heaton, New
7 Mexico, to Michael and Elizabeth (Durichko) Sakach; she married
8 Joseph W. Bohn on October 12, 1938, in St. Louis; and
 
9     WHEREAS, She had worked for the Alton School District and
10 the Catholic Children's Home and was a member of SS. Peter and
11 Paul Catholic Church; and
 
12     WHEREAS, She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph;
13 her parents; her son, John Bohn; her granddaughter, Theresa
14 Bohn; her brother, Edward Sakach; and her sisters, Grace
15 O'Connell, Ann Marak, and Mary Frances Rice; and
 
16     WHEREAS, The passing of Catherine Bohn is felt by all who
17 knew and loved her, especially her daughters and sons-in-law,
18 Madeleine and James Haine and Anna and Terry Jensen; her sons
19 and daughters-in-law, Edward and Okema Bohn, Philip and Donna
20 Bohn, Charles and Barbara Bohn, Joseph Bohn, and Barbara Bohn;
21 her grandchildren, Shannon Sholar, John Bohn, Bridget Kenney,
22 Gabrielle Mormino, Alison Bohn, Theodore Bohn, Christine
23 Ackerman, James Haine, Joseph Bohn, Jennifer Rister, Patrick
24 Bohn, Natalie Bohn, Mary Sergent, Thomas Jensen, and Kate
25 Jensen; and her 12 great-grandchildren; therefore, be it
 
26     RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL
27 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
28 Catherine C. Bohn and extend our sincerest condolences to her
29 family, friends, and community; and be it further
