SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2     WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the State of Illinois
3 learned with regret of the death of Dean J. Seger of North
4 Chicago on Wednesday, April 28, 2004; and
 
5     WHEREAS, He was born on November 29, 1946, in Waukegan; he
6 married Elizabeth "Betty" (nee Alfano) on January 18, 1969; he
7 was employed by Andrew Pucin Distributors from 1969 to 1989
8 when he retired for medical reasons; and
 
9     WHEREAS, Mr. Seger was a member of Teamsters Union #301 and
10 Waukegan Moose Lodge #706; he was an avid golfer before
11 retirement and a lifelong sports fan; and
 
12     WHEREAS, The passing of Dean J. Seger has been deeply felt
13 by many, especially his wife, Betty; his sons, Dean Seger,
14 Scott Seger, and Ken Seger; his granddaughter, Melissa; his
15 mother, Margaret Carney Seger; his sisters, Marilyn Carney and
16 Cathy (Wayne) Morrissey; his brothers, Irv (Annie) Seger and
17 Pat Seger; and his many nieces and nephews; he was preceded in
18 death by his father, Irv Seger; therefore, be it
 
19     RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL
20 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
21 Dean J. Seger, and we extend our sincerest condolences to his
22 family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
23 further
 
24     RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
25 presented to his family as an expression of our deepest
26 sympathy.
