SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2     WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the State of Illinois
3 learned with sadness of the death of Scott C. Stone of O'Fallon
4 on Saturday, May 14, 2005; and
 
5     WHEREAS, Mr. Stone was born on February 26, 1968, in East
6 St. Louis; and
 
7     WHEREAS, He worked as an administrative assistant for the
8 Secretary of State; he also worked as a Deputy Coroner for St.
9 Clair County; he was a member of Cornerstone Christian Church;
10 and
 
11     WHEREAS, Mr. Stone loved life and was a good father and
12 husband, and he had the gift of gab; and
 
13     WHEREAS, The passing of Scott C. Stone has been deeply felt
14 by many, especially his wife, Jill, nee Noffsinger, Stone; his
15 children, Taylor Ruth Ann Stone and Sydney Marie Stone; his
16 parents, Rick (Suzie) Stone and Ruth L. Stone; his brother,
17 Jeffrey (Carla) Stone; and his step-brothers, Michael Miller
18 and David (Anne) Miller; he was the dear uncle of Maxwell and
19 Madison Stone; the dear son-in-law of Jay and Sharon
20 Noffsinger; the dear brother-in-law of John (Jamie) Franklin
21 and Julie Noffsinger; and a dear godfather and nephew;
22 therefore, be it
 
23     RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL
24 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
25 Scott C. Stone, and we extend our deepest sympathy to his
26 family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
27 further
 
28     RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
29 presented to his family as an expression of our sincere
