SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2     WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the State of Illinois
3 learned with sadness of the death of Edward E. Schmidgall of
4 Tiskilwa on Wednesday, February 9, 2005; and
 
5     WHEREAS, He was born May 6, 1917, in Morton to Otto and
6 Mary (Bauman) Schmidgall; and
 
7     WHEREAS, Mr. Schmidgall was a retired farmer; he valiantly
8 served his country as a member of the U.S. Army during World
9 War II and was a member of the Christian Apostolic Church in
10 Forrest; and
 
11     WHEREAS, The passing of Edward E. Schmidgall has been
12 deeply felt by many, especially his wife, Viola Albrecht Beams
13 Schmidgall; his stepson, Delmar (Eleanor) Beams; his brothers,
14 Harold (Ethel) Schmidgall and Marvin (Dorothy) Schmidgall; his
15 step-granddaughter, Leslee Beam (David) Staker; and his many
16 nieces and nephews; he was preceded in death by his parents;
17 therefore, be it
 
18     RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL
19 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
20 Edward E. Schmidgall, and we extend our deepest sympathy to his
21 family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
22 further
 
23     RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
24 presented to his family as an expression of our sincere
25 condolences.
