    Amends the Illinois Horse Racing Act of 1975. Makes a technical change in a Section concerning deposits of fees.

1     AN ACT concerning gaming.
 
2     Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:
 
4     Section 5. The Illinois Horse Racing Act of 1975 is amended
5 by changing Section 15.1 as follows:
 
6     (230 ILCS 5/15.1)  (from Ch. 8, par. 37-15.1)
7     Sec. 15.1. Upon collection of the the fee accompanying the
8 application for an occupation license, the Board shall be
9 authorized to make daily temporary deposits of the fees, for a
10 period not to exceed 7 days, with the horsemen's bookkeeper at
11 a race meeting. The horsemen's bookkeeper shall issue a check,
12 payable to the order of the Illinois Racing Board, for monies
13 deposited under this Section within 24 hours of receipt of the
14 monies. Provided however, upon the issuance of the check by the
15 horsemen's bookkeeper the check shall be deposited in the State
16 Treasury in accordance with the provisions of the "State
17 Officers and Employees Money Disposition Act", approved June 9,
18 1911, as amended.
