1     AN ACT concerning criminal law.
 
2     Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:
 
4     Section 5. The Use of Intoxicating Compounds Act is amended
5 by changing Section 1 as follows:
 
6     (720 ILCS 690/1)  (from Ch. 38, par. 81-1)
7     Sec. 1. Use prohibited. No person shall ingest, breathe,
8 inhale or drink any compound, liquid, or chemical containing
9 toluol, hexane, trichloroethylene, acetone, toluene, ethyl
10 acetate, methyl ethyl ketone, trichloroethane, isopropanol,
11 methyl isobutyl ketone, methyl cellosolve acetate,
12 cyclohexanone, the the alkaloids atropine, hyoscyamine, or
13 scopolamine, or any other substance for the purpose of inducing
14 a condition of intoxication, stupefaction, depression,
15 giddiness, paralysis or irrational behavior, or in any manner
16 changing, distorting or disturbing the auditory, visual or
17 mental processes. For the purposes of this Act, any such
18 condition so induced shall be deemed to be an intoxicated
19 condition.
