HOUSE RESOLUTION

 
2     WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of
3 Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of Paul
4 McCullar of Chicago, Illinois; and
 
5     WHEREAS, Paul McCullar was born on April 25, 1925 in Cash,
6 Arkansas; his parents were Susie Nash and Walter McCullar; and
 
7     WHEREAS, He received his education in Jonesboro, Arkansas;
8 he confessed Jesus Christ at an early age and was baptized at
9 the AME Church in Jonesboro, Arkansas; and
 
10     WHEREAS, He married Vera Eagle in 1944 in Chicago; together
11 they had three children; in 1967 he married Rosetta Williams
12 and they had eleven children; and
 
13     WHEREAS, Paul McCullar worked as an auto mechanic with the
14 Chicago Transit Authority for 30 years before retiring; he was
15 also a 33rd Degree Mason; and
 
16     WHEREAS, The passing of Paul McCullar will be felt by those
17 who survive him, including his wife, Rose; his sister, Carolyn
18 O'Brien; his brother, Charles McCullar; his daughters, Opal,
19 Bernadine, Mary, Christine, Sally Ann, and Tiana; his sons,
20 Paul Jr., and his wife, Angela, John and his wife, Nola,
21 Forrest and his wife, Niecy, Terry and his wife, Cheryl, Timmy
22 and his wife, Jesse, Tommy, Norceil and his wife, Verna, and
23 Tyrone and his wife, Shay; his 38 grandchildren, his 69
24 great-grandchildren; his 9 great-great-grandchildren; and his
25 many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends; therefore, be it
 
26     RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
27 NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that
28 we mourn, along with his family and friends, the death of Paul
29 McCullar, and extend our sincere condolences; and be it further
