HOUSE RESOLUTION

    WHEREAS, It is the distinct privilege of the members of the

heroic efforts on behalf of the life of another citizen; and

    WHEREAS, On the evening of Friday, November 12, 2004, Gerry
Jenich was returning to his Grayslake home, when he happened by
the scene of a deer-related crash; six young people had been
riding in an SUV in Grayslake, when the vehicle rolled over
after the driver swerved to avoid hitting a deer; and

    WHEREAS, Mr. Jenich, who had previously worked as a

the number of passengers and inquired about their injuries; he
found Blake Harmon lying about 30 feet in front of the SUV; and

    WHEREAS, Even though it had been ten years since he worked
as a paramedic, Mr. Jenich immediately began to care for Blake;
