    Amends the Mental Health and Developmental Disabilities Administrative Act. Makes a technical change in a Section concerning special education services.

1     AN ACT concerning State government.
 
2     Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:
 
4     Section 5. The Mental Health and Developmental
5 Disabilities Administrative Act is amended by changing Section
6 11.1 as follows:
 
7     (20 ILCS 1705/11.1)  (from Ch. 91 1/2, par. 100-11.1)
8     Sec. 11.1. To provide for all recipients living in State
9 mental health facilities between the the ages of 3 and 21 years
10 special education services, as defined by the Department, to
11 the extent that such services are practical for each child's
12 needs. Upon discharge of the child, a report of the discharge,
13 accompanied by a report on the special education services
14 received by that child while in the facility shall be forwarded
15 to the State Board of Education and to the resident school
16 district.
