SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:

 

 

Appropriates $1,000,000 to the Department of Public Health from the General Revenue Fund for a grant to the Cook County Department of Public Health for the purpose of establishing a lead-safe community program. Effective July 1, 2005.

$LOCAL PUBLIC HEALTH DEPTS

 

 

 

    AN ACT concerning appropriations.

 

        Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:

 

    Section 5. The amount of $1,000,000, or so much of that amount as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Department of Public Health for a grant to the Cook County Department of Public Health for the purpose of establishing a lead-safe community program.

 

Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, 2005.
