AN ACT concerning appropriations.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:
ARTICLE 1
Section 5. The following named amount, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated to the Department of Public Health for the objects and purposes hereinafter named:
OFFICE OF HEALTH PROMOTION
Payable from the Tobacco Settlement Recovery Fund:
For grants and related expenses for
scientific research......................... $15,000,000
Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, 2006.
