SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:

 

 Appropriates $250,000 for FY06 to the Office of the State's Attorneys Appellate Prosecutor to conduct education seminars for prosecutors throughout the State on how to prosecute cases in drug court with a specific emphasis on cases involving the illegal possession of methamphetamine. Effective July 1, 2005.

    AN ACT concerning appropriations.

 

        Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:

 

    Section 5.  The amount of $250,000, or so much of that amount as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Office of the State's Attorneys Appellate Prosecutor to  conduct education seminars for prosecutors throughout the State on how to prosecute cases in drug court with a specific emphasis on cases involving the illegal possession of methamphetamine. 

 

 

Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, 2005.
