SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:

 

 Appropriates $250,000 for FY06 from the General Revenue Fund to the Supreme Court for use by the Administrative Office of the Illinois Courts to conduct education seminars for judges throughout the State on how to operate drug court programs with a specific emphasis on cases involving the illegal possession of methamphetamine. Effective July 1, 2005.

    AN ACT concerning appropriations.

 

        Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:

 

     Section 5.  The amount of $250,000, or so much of that amount as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Supreme Court for use by the Administrative Office of the Illinois Courts to conduct education seminars for judges throughout the State on how to operate drug court programs with a specific emphasis on cases involving the illegal possession of methamphetamine.

 

Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, 2005.
