SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:

 

 Appropriates $500,000 for FY06 from the General Revenue Fund to the Department of Human Services to conduct a best practices study for the treatment of methamphetamine users and addicts and to prepare a report of the Department’s findings for the General Assembly and the public.  Effective July 1, 2005.

    AN ACT concerning appropriations.

 

        Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:

 

    Section 5.  The sum of  $500,000, or so much of that amount as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Department of Human Services to conduct a best practices study for the treatment of methamphetamine users and addicts and to prepare a report of the Department’s findings for the General Assembly and the public.

 

Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, 2005.
