Appropriates $700,000 from the General Revenue Fund to the Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity for a grant to the Village of Washington Park for the removal of derelict housing and trash. Effective July 1, 2005.

    AN ACT making appropriations.

Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:

    Section 5.  The amount of $700,000, or so much of that amount as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity for a grant to the Village of Washington Park for the removal of derelict housing and trash.

Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, 2005.
