SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened
3to learn of the death of Francis C. Cullor of Coal Valley, who
4passed away on October 20, 2023; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Francis Cullor was born to Rex and Vivian
6(Minear) Cullor in Unionville, Missouri on July 22, 1945; he
7served in the U.S. Army; he married Judy Dahlberg; he later
8married Carol Zobrist in Moline on May 22, 1970; and
 
9    WHEREAS, Francis Cullor was a welder at John Deere Seeding
10for 35 years, retiring on January 1, 1999; and
 
11    WHEREAS, Francis Cullor was a member of St. Maria Goretti
12Catholic Church in Coal Valley, Orion American Legion Post No.
13255, and UAW Local No. 434; and
 
14    WHEREAS, Francis Cullor enjoyed golfing and fishing, and
15he was an avid Green Bay Packers fan; and
 
16    WHEREAS, Francis Cullor was preceded in death by his
17parents; his grandson, Drake Long; and his brothers, Rex
18Cullor and Jack Cullor; and
 
19    WHEREAS, Francis Cullor is survived by his wife, Carol;

1his children, Alan (Pam) Cullor, Aaron Cullor, Andrew Cullor,
2and Stephanie (Mark) Moore; his grandchildren, Melissa,
3Meghin, Abby, Austin, Gabrielle, Cody, Emilee, Blaine, Brant,
4Grace, and Morgan; four great-grandchildren; and his sister,
5Rose (Ed) Shelton; therefore, be it
 
6    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED THIRD GENERAL
7ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
8Francis C. Cullor and extend our sincere condolences to his
9family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
10further
 
11    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
12presented to the family of Francis Cullor as an expression of
13our deepest sympathy.
