SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened
3to learn of the death of Sharon L. Dyer, who passed away on
4June 2, 2023; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Sharon Dyer was born to Shirley and Nellie
6(Landers) Wood on May 26, 1940; she married James "Tike" Dyer
7on July 1, 1978; and
 
8    WHEREAS, Sharon Dyer was formerly employed by Thrifty
9Drugs and Joe's Pizza; and
 
10    WHEREAS, Sharon Dyer cherished spending time with her
11grandchildren; she enjoyed gambling and playing Bingo; and
 
12    WHEREAS, Sharon Dyer was affectionately known as
13"Bubbles"; and
 
14    WHEREAS, Sharon Dyer was preceded in death by her parents;
15her husband; her daughters, Brenda Greenslade and Sherry Rath;
16and several brothers and sisters; and
 
17    WHEREAS, Sharon Dyer is survived by her children, Missy
18(Bob) Campbell, Renee Saccaro, and David (Barbie) Greenslade;
19her children's father, David V. Greenslade; 10 grandchildren;

1several great-grandchildren; her sister, Wanda "Peaches"
2Canady; and several nieces and nephews; therefore, be it
 
3    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED THIRD GENERAL
4ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
5Sharon L. Dyer and extend our sincere condolences to her
6family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it
7further
 
8    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
9presented to the family of Sharon Dyer as an expression of our
10deepest sympathy.
