SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:
Appropriates $750,000 from the General Revenue Fund to the Department of Human Services for grants to the Illinois Coalition Against Domestic Violence, the Illinois Coalition Against Sexual Assault, and the operator of the Illinois Domestic Violence Hotline for the purposes of emergency transportation assistance to survivors of domestic abuse, sexual assault, and human trafficking. Effective July 1, 2023.

AN ACT concerning appropriations.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:
Section 5. The sum of $750,000, or so much therefore may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Department of Human Services for grants to the Illinois Coalition Against Domestic Violence, the Illinois Coalition Against Sexual Assault, and the operator of the Illinois Domestic Violence Hotline for the purposes of emergency transportation assistance to survivors of domestic abuse, sexual assault, and human trafficking.
Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, 2023.
