AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 935

    AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 935 by replacing everything after the enacting clause with the following:

    "Section 5. The amount of $1,500,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Department of Natural Resources for a comprehensive study of the Kaskaskia River watershed in coordination with the United States Army Corps of Engineers.

Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, 2023.".
