SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:
Reappropriates $75,000 from an appropriation made in Public Act 103-6 from the Build Illinois Bond Fund to the Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity for a grant to the City of St. Elmo (rather than to the St. Elmo Historical Society) for all costs associated with the renovation of the Elmo movie theater. Effective July 1, 2024.

AN ACT concerning appropriations.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:
Section 5. The sum of $75,000, or so much of that sum as may be necessary and remains unexpended at the close of business on June 30, 2024, from an appropriation heretofore made for that purpose in Section 640 of Article 166 of Public Act 103-6, is reappropriated from the Build Illinois Bond Fund to the Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity for a grant to the City of St. Elmo for all costs associated with the renovation of the Elmo movie theater.
Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, 2024.
