SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened
3to learn of the death of Eugene C. "Gene" Wadsager of Moline,
4who passed away on September 16, 2022; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Gene Wadsager was born to Hans and Anna Richards
6Wadsager in Moline on August 6, 1943; he graduated from United
7Township High School in 1961; he served in the U.S. Air Force
8from 1962 to 1966; he married Shirley L. Ruhnow Logan in April
91986; he was previously married to Linda Bolmer; and
 
10    WHEREAS, Gene Wadsager retired from John Deere Harvester
11in January 2000; and
 
12    WHEREAS, Gene Wadsager enjoyed golfing, bowling, and
13fishing; and
 
14    WHEREAS, Gene Wadsager was preceded in death by his
15father, Hans H. Wadsager; his mother, Anna Griffin; his
16stepfather, Elmer Griffin; and his brother, Herbert Wadsager;
17and
 
18    WHEREAS, Gene Wadsager is survived by his wife, Shirley;
19his children, Dr. Heather L. Wadsager Dunn (Dr. Blair Foreman)
20and Christopher R. (Kimberly) Wadsager; his grandchildren,

1Mason R. Dunn, Norah C.L. Dunn, and Katlin M. Wadsager; his
2step-grandchildren, Zachary (Meaghan) Martin, Kambra Jones,
3and Brandon (Rebecca) Jones; and his five
4step-great-grandchildren; therefore, be it
 
5    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL
6ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
7Eugene C. "Gene" Wadsager and extend our sincere condolences
8to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be
9it further
 
10    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
11presented to the family of Gene Wadsager as an expression of
12our deepest sympathy.
