SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened
3to learn of the death of Antonio M. Maldonado of Colona, who
4passed away on July 21, 2022; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Antonio Maldonado was born in Utuado, Puerto Rico
6to Antonio and Maria (Medina) Maldonado on June 5, 1937; he
7served in the U.S. Army and married Ann Louise Schmidtlein in
8Henry County on May 13, 1960; and
 
9    WHEREAS, Antonio Maldonado was a machine repairman for the
10Rock Island Line railroad for 21 years; following his
11retirement from the railroad, he worked for Caseew Holland
12until his retirement in 2002; and
 
13    WHEREAS, Antonio Maldonado was preceded in death by his
14parents; and
 
15    WHEREAS, Antonio Maldonado is survived by his wife, Ann;
16his children, Antonio L., Johnny R., Daniel A. (Penny), and
17Anita M. Maldonado; his grandchildren, Zachary, Elizabeth, and
18Nick Maldonado, Jena Wells, Katherine Iossi, and Mitch
19McIntyre; his great-grandson, Jasper; and his sisters, Esther,
20Elisha, and Anna; therefore, be it

1    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL
2ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
3Antonio M. Maldonado and extend our sincere condolences to his
4family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
5further
 
6    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
7presented to Antonio Maldonado as an expression of our esteem
8and respect.
