SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened
3to learn of the death of Ryan William Harms of Peoria, who
4passed away on September 5, 2021; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Ryan Harms was born to William S. and Carmen I.
6(Elliott) Harms in Peoria on January 3, 1991; he was a track
7and field and cross country runner in high school, and he was
8selected for the Peoria Journal Star Honor Roll Meet his
9senior year; he earned his bachelor's degree from the
10University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana; and
 
11    WHEREAS, Ryan Harms worked as a Planner III for the
12Tri-County Regional Planning Commission in Peoria and
13absolutely loved his profession; and
 
14    WHEREAS, Ryan Harms continued running to relax and unwind;
15he also ran in the Steamboat Classic and many other running
16events; he was a professional football fanatic and enjoyed
17cheering for the Pittsburgh Steelers; and
 
18    WHEREAS, Ryan Harms was loved by many and will be greatly
19missed; and
 
20    WHEREAS, Ryan Harms was preceded in death by his

1grandparents; and
 
2    WHEREAS, Ryan Harms is survived by his parents, Bill and
3Carmen; his siblings, Darla (Armando) Oropeza, Heather (Tom)
4Hanson Bell, Kristophier Harms, and Adi (Sarah Brown) Elliott;
5his fianceé, Carly Levin; and his beloved cat, Noisy;
6therefore, be it
 
7    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL
8ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
9Ryan William Harms and extend our sincere condolences to his
10family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
11further
 
12    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
13presented to the family of Ryan Harms as an expression of our
14deepest sympathy.
