SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened
3to learn of the death of Clifford E. Wiborg of Rock Island, who
4passed away on May 19, 2021; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Clifford Wiborg was born in Moline to John Harold
6and Hazel (Schmook) Wiborg on August 14, 1933; he served in the
7U.S. Army and attended college; and
 
8    WHEREAS, Clifford Wiborg worked for Douglas Aircraft in
9California; he later moved back to Illinois and worked at the
10Rock Island Arsenal; he was also the owner of the Wiborg
11Products Company; and
 
12    WHEREAS, Clifford Wiborg was a member of First Evangelical
13Free Church in Moline; he had also attended Edgewood Baptist
14Church in Rock Island; and
 
15    WHEREAS, Clifford Wiborg was preceded in death by his
16parents; and
 
17    WHEREAS, Clifford Wiborg is survived by his daughters,
18Deborah (Warren) Lauritzson and Janette Lyle; his sons, Danial
19(Vicki) Wiborg and John D. (Shelley) Wiborg; 12 grandchildren;
2011 great-grandchildren; and one great-grandchild on the way;

1therefore, be it
 
2    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL
3ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
4Clifford E. Wiborg and extend our sincere condolences to his
5family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
6further
 
7    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
8presented to the family of Clifford Wiborg as an expression of
9our deepest sympathy.
