SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened
3to learn of the death of Gary Vucich of Godfrey, who passed
4away on March 8, 2021; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Gary Vucich was born in Alton to Charles Albert
6Vucich and Catherine Wyomia (Giles) Vucich on November 2,
71942; he married Karen Rose Ragusa in Godfrey on October 9,
81965; and
 
9    WHEREAS, Gary Vucich worked as a delivery driver for UPS
10and retired after 29 years; and
 
11    WHEREAS, Gary Vucich was a member of the Beltline
12Christian Church; he was an avid patron of Mr. Donut; he
13enjoyed golfing at Rolling Hills Golf Course; he also loved
14attending his grandchildren's sporting events; above all, he
15valued faith, friendships, and family; and
 
16    WHEREAS, Gary Vucich was preceded in death by his parents
17and his sisters, Marsha Vucich and Barbara Spooner; and
 
18    WHEREAS, Gary Vucich is survived by his wife; his sons,
19Doug (Trish) Vucich and David Vucich; his grandchildren,
20Peyton and Ross; his brothers, Jim Vucich and William "Billy"

1Bock; his sisters, Lana Kornick and Darlene Vucich; and his
2nieces and nephews, Rachel Tornetto, Allison Spooner, Courtney
3Cook, Robbie Cook, Parker Kornick, and Katie Kornick;
4therefore, be it
 
5    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL
6ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
7Gary Vucich and extend our sincere condolences to his family,
8friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further
 
9    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
10presented to the family of Gary Vucich as an expression of our
11deepest sympathy.
