HOUSE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of
3Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of Esther
4Isabelle Brazier, who passed away on March 19, 2022 at the age
5of 92; and
 
6    WHEREAS, Isabelle Brazier was born in Indianapolis,
7Indiana on March 24, 1929; she married Bishop Arthur M.
8Brazier, and he preceded her in death; and
 
9    WHEREAS, Isabelle Brazier was deeply committed to the
10Apostolic Church of God (ACOG) alongside her husband, Bishop
11Brazier; she played a vital role in many ministries of the
12church, including the ACOG choirs and the youth orchestra, all
13while raising her family and supporting her husband; and
 
14    WHEREAS, Isabelle Brazier will be remembered for being a
15devoted wife, a loving mother, grandmother, and
16great-grandmother, a caring friend, and a dedicated leader;
17and
 
18    WHEREAS, Isabelle Brazier was the wife of Bishop Arthur M.
19Brazier and the mother of Lola LaFayette, Janice Dortch,
20Rosalyn Shepherd, and Dr. Byron T. Brazier; therefore, be it

1    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE
2HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that
3we mourn the passing of Esther Isabelle Brazier and extend our
4sincere condolences to her family, friends, and all who knew
5and loved her; and be it further
 
6    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
7presented to the family of Isabelle Brazier as an expression
8of our deepest sympathy.
