HOUSE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of
3Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of
4Westchester Village President Frank J. Perry, who passed away
5on December 22, 2021; and
 
6    WHEREAS, President Perry was born in Westchester on
7December 30, 1970; he was raised in Westchester and graduated
8from St. Joseph High School; and
 
9    WHEREAS, President Perry was the former owner of Joe's
10Place Restaurant and Concetta's Salon; he also coached the
11Westchester girls' softball team for many years; he served as
12a village trustee for 10 years; and
 
13    WHEREAS, President Perry became village president of
14Westchester in April 2021; before and during his brief tenure,
15he started many initiatives that served the infrastructure,
16community, and morale of Westchester; he worked hard for and
17was dedicated to his community; and
 
18    WHEREAS, President Perry was a member of the West Central
19Municipal Conference and the Divine Infant Knights of
20Columbus; and

1    WHEREAS, President Perry was a devoted husband, father,
2family member, community member, and churchgoer; he was known
3for his infectious smile, his generosity, and the unending
4love he had for his community; he was a friend to many who will
5continue to honor his memory and work; and
 
6    WHEREAS, President Perry was the best friend and husband
7of Peggy (Cesarini) Perry; the father of Ava Lucia Perry; the
8son of the late Frank and Lucille Perry; the nephew of Gerald
9(Roe) Cantino; the cousin of Joey, Charlie, Caren, Cathy, and
10Geralyn; the son-in-law of Molly Williams and Joe Cesarini;
11and the companion of his dogs, Luca and Tino; therefore, be it
 
12    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE
13HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that
14we mourn the passing of Westchester Village President Frank J.
15Perry and extend our sincere condolences to his family,
16friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further
 
17    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
18presented to the family of President Perry as an expression of
19our deepest sympathy.
