AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 5246

2    AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 5246 on page 2,
3line 24, by changing "5" to "10"; and
 
4on page 3, by replacing lines 10 through 13 with the following:
 
5    "A reasonable fee, not to exceed $375, covering the direct
6out-of-pocket cost of providing such information and copying
7may be charged by the association or its Board of Managers to
8the unit seller for providing such information. Beginning one
9year after the effective date of this amendatory Act of the
10102nd General Assembly, the $375 fee shall be increased or
11decreased, as applicable, by a percentage equal to the
12percentage change in the consumer price index-u during the
13preceding 12-month calendar year. "Consumer price index-u"
14means the index published by the Bureau of Labor Statistics of
15the United States Department of Labor that measures the
16average change in prices of goods and services purchased by

1all urban consumers, United States city average, all items,
21982-84 = 100. An association may charge an additional $100
3for rush service completed within 72 hours.".
