SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:
Makes appropriations for the ordinary and contingent expenses of the Department of Human Services and the Illinois State Board of Education for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2022. Effective July 1, 2022.

AN ACT concerning appropriations.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:
Article 1
Section 5. The following named sums, or so much thereof as may be necessary, respectively, for the objects and purposes hereinafter named, are appropriated to the Department of Human Services for ordinary and contingent expenses:
Payable from the General Revenue Fund:
For grants and administration expenses
associated with Parents Too Soon .................$7,557,330
For grants and administrative expenses
associated with the Healthy Families
Program .........................................11,044,000
For grants and administrative expenses
associated with Redeploy Illinois ................7,010,960
For grants and administrative expenses
associated with Teen Reach After-School
Programs ........................................15,974,200
For Early Intervention ..........................119,781,090
For grants and administrative expenses
associated with Child Care Services, including
prior year costs ................................451,658,910
Section 10. The following named sums, or so much thereof as may be necessary, respectively, for the objects and purposes hereinafter named, are appropriated to the Department of Human Services for ordinary and contingent expenses:

For Early Childhood Education ...................598,111,910
Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect takes effect July 1, 2022.
