SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:
Appropriates $5,000,000 to the Department of Public Health's Office of Health Promotion to be used by the Office for grants associated with expanding equity and opportunity in youth development-based sports initiatives. Effective July 1, 2022.

AN ACT concerning appropriations.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:
Section 5. The amount of $5,000,000, or so much of that amount as may be necessary, is appropriated to the Department of Public Health's Office of Health Promotion to be used by the Office for grants associated with expanding equity and opportunity in youth development-based sports initiatives.
Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, 2022.
