SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:

 

Appropriates $5,000,000 from the General Revenue Fund to the Department of Human Services to be used to promote the availability of the Child Care Assistance Program to families with children under the age of 13 and to child care providers. Effective July 1, 2022.

    AN ACT concerning appropriations.

 

        Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:

 

    Section 5. The amount of $5,000,000, or so much of that amount as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Department of Human Services to be used to promote the availability of the Child Care Assistance Program to families with children under the age of 13 and to child care providers.

 

Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, 2022.
