SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:

 

Appropriates $8,000,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary, from the General Revenue Fund to the Illinois Emergency Management Agency for grants to not-for-profit organizations for security improvements that assist the organization in preventing, preparing for, or responding to acts of terrorism.

    AN ACT concerning appropriations.

 

        Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:

 

    Section 5. The amount of $8,000,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Illinois Emergency Management Agency for grants to not-for-profit organizations for security improvements that assist the organization in preventing, preparing for, or responding to acts of terrorism as provided under subsection (g-5) of Section 5 of the Illinois Emergency Management Agency Act.
