SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:

 

Makes various appropriations to the Department of Human Services, the Department of Children and Family Services, the Department of Public Health, and the Department on Aging for grants to cover all costs associated with technical assistance and navigation of the Grant Accountability and Transparency Act. Effective July 1, 2021.

    AN ACT concerning appropriations.

 

        Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:

 

    Section 5. The sum of $250,000, or so much of that amount as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Department of Human Services for grants to cover all costs associated with technical assistance and navigation of the Grant Accountability and Transparency Act.

 

    Section 10. The sum of $250,000, or so much of that amount as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Department of Children and Family Services for grants to cover all costs associated with technical assistance and navigation of the Grant Accountability and Transparency Act.

 

    Section 15. The sum of $250,000, or so much of that amount as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Department of Public Health for grants to cover all costs associated with technical assistance and navigation of the Grant Accountability and Transparency Act.

 

    Section 20. The sum of $250,000, or so much of that amount as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Department on Aging for grants to cover all costs associated with technical assistance and navigation of the Grant Accountability and Transparency Act.

 

Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, 2021.
