SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Charles William Fulton of East Moline,
4who passed away on April 17, 2020; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Charles Fulton was born to Frank and Clara (Krack)
6Fulton in Cairo on November 3, 1930; he completed an 11 month
7assignment in Korea while serving in the United States Air
8Force from 1950 to 1954; he was awarded the Korean Service
9Medal, a United Nations Service Medal, the National Defense
10Service Medal, and the Good Conduct Medal; Charles married Sung
11Kim at Grace Baptist Church in East Moline on May 12, 1979; and
 
12    WHEREAS, Charles Fulton was employed by Case IH, Rock
13Island; he retired in November of 1985; and
 
14    WHEREAS, Charles Fulton was a great man of faith; he served
15many years as a deacon and Sunday school teacher at Grace
16Baptist Church in East Moline; and
 
17    WHEREAS, Charles Fulton was preceded in death by his
18parents, Frank and Clara Fulton; his son, Daniel Fulton; his
19brothers, Albert, Donald, and Franklin; and his sisters,
20Violet, Beatrice, and Delores; and

1    WHEREAS, Charles Fulton is survived by his wife, Sung
2Fulton; his daughter, Susan McGivern; his son-in-law, Ryan
3McGivern; and his grandchildren, Olivia, Liam, and Isla
4McGivern; therefore, be it
 
5    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL
6ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
7Charles William Fulton and extend our sincere condolences to
8his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
9further
 
10    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
11presented to the family of Charles Fulton as an expression of
12our deepest sympathy.
