SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Forrest G. Kaufman Jr. of Normal, who
4passed away on September 18, 2019; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Forrest Kaufman Jr. was born in Bloomington to
6Forrest G. and Frances (Otto) Kaufman Sr. on April 25, 1934; he
7married Elvira Williamson in Danvers on September 7, 1952; and
 
8    WHEREAS, Forrest Kaufman Jr. was the founder and owner of
9the McLean County Asphalt Company; and
 
10    WHEREAS, Forrest Kaufman Jr. was a member of the Elks Lodge
11#281 and the First Christian Church of Bloomington; and
 
12    WHEREAS, Forrest Kaufman Jr. was preceded in death by his
13parents; one of his brothers, William Kaufman; his sister, Mary
14Kaufman; and his son-in-law, Terry Park; and
 
15    WHEREAS, Forrest Kaufman Jr. is survived by his dearest
16friend, Janet Waller; his children, Randall (Jean) Kaufman and
17Linda Park; his grandchildren, Rebecca (Robert) Fleck,
18Christopher (Carrie) Kaufman, Jillian Andersen, Andrew
19(Kimberly) Kaufman, and Matthew Kaufman; his
20great-grandchildren, Jacob Fleck, Adam Fleck, Addison Kaufman,

1Nathan Kaufman, and Kevin Kaufman; and his brothers, Robert
2Kaufman and Carl (Karen) Kaufman; therefore, be it
 
3    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL
4ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
5Forrest G. Kaufman Jr. and extend our sincere condolences to
6his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
7further
 
8    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
9presented to the family of Forrest Kaufman Jr. as an expression
10of our deepest sympathy.
