SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Susan Lee Ohlerich of Rock Island, who
4passed away on June 29, 2019; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Susan Ohlerich was born in DeWitt to Albert and
6Luetta (Dettman) Ohlerich on October 9, 1953; she graduated
7from Central Community High School in 1971; she served in the
8United States Army from 1973 until 1976; she received a medical
9laboratory assistant certificate from Scott Community College
10in 1978; and
 
11    WHEREAS, Susan Ohlerich retired as an IT Specialist in the
12Defense Information Systems Agency at the Rock Island Arsenal
13in 2009; and
 
14    WHEREAS, Susan Ohlerich was an avid animal lover and
15adopted many cats and dogs, and even a horse, throughout her
16life; she enjoyed traveling with family and friends and
17shopping for gourmet foods; and
 
18    WHEREAS, Susan Ohlerich is survived by her sisters, Nancy
19(Barry) Deist and Karie (Mark) Kutmas; her nieces and nephews
20and their spouses, Greg and Fabiana Deist, Philip and Lynne
21Deist, Barbara and Kenneth Obert, Brian and Nichole Kutmas,

1Brandon and Ashley Kutmas, and Bradley Kutmas; and eight
2grandnieces and grandnephews; therefore, be it
 
3    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL
4ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
5Susan Lee Ohlerich and extend our sincere condolences to her
6family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it
7further
 
8    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
9presented to the family of Susan Ohlerich as an expression of
10our deepest sympathy.
