SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Evelyne (Evie) Stickler of Puryear,
4Tennessee and North Chicago, who passed away on May 8, 2019;
5and
 
6    WHEREAS, Evelyne Stickler was born in North Chicago to
7Joseph and Bernice (Sznalek) Harazak on March 12, 1930; she was
8raised in North Chicago, where she met her childhood
9sweetheart, Robert Stickler, to whom she was married for 68
10years; and
 
11    WHEREAS, Evelyne Stickler enjoyed her years as an alderman
12in the 7th ward in North Chicago during the 1970s and 1980s;
13and
 
14    WHEREAS, Evelyne Stickler was a loving wife and mother
15whose pride and joy was her family; and
 
16    WHEREAS, Evelyne Stickler was preceded in death by her
17parents; her husband, Bob; her brother, Edward Harazak; her
18sisters, Sylvia Mooney, Irene Stewart, and Helen Van Horn; and
19her grandson, Zachary Stickler; and
 
20    WHEREAS, Evelyne Stickler is survived by her children,

1Robert Stickler Jr., Michael (Maureen) Stickler, Lawrence
2(Therese) Stickler, James (Christine) Stickler, and Sally (Don
3Weis) Stickler; her sisters, Caye Emanuel and Joan Livieri; her
4grandchildren, Paul, Kurt, Amy, Cassie, Kelly, Morgan, Quin,
5Eli, Janna, Jennifer, Jessica, Julie, Justin, Mark, and Sarah;
6her great-grandchildren, Sage, Summer, Jett, Cameron, Ryan,
7Elijah, Sam, Aslyn, Ava, Madison, Keith, Mason, Noelle,
8Scarlett, Wyatt, Wesley, Kevin, Duncan, Alexia, Lillian,
9Chloe, Allison, Lucas, Ella, Brayden, and Ryder; and her dear
10nieces and nephews; therefore, be it
 
11    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL
12ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
13Evelyne (Evie) Stickler and extend our sincere condolences to
14her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it
15further
 
16    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
17presented to the family of Evelyne Stickler as an expression of
18our deepest sympathy.
