SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Francis B. Crang of Clinton, who passed
4away on April 20, 2019; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Francis Crang was born in Clinton to Francis B.
6Crang Sr. and Edna Overy Crang-Griffin on February 19, 1930; he
7married Mary E. Barnett in Waynesville on August 5, 1950; and
 
8    WHEREAS, Francis Crang was a veteran of the Korean War and
9served in the Army 1st Cavalry Division; he retired from Revere
10Copper and Brass in Clinton after 35 years of service; and
 
11    WHEREAS, Francis Crang enjoyed tinkering and making
12things; and
 
13    WHEREAS, Francis Crang was preceded in death by his
14parents; his daughter, Julie A. Koons; and his son, Jeffrey Lee
15Crang; and
 
16    WHEREAS, Francis Crang is survived by his wife, Mary; his
17children, Michael (Nan) Crang, Nancy (Chris) Riddle, and Steven
18(Melissa) Crang; his ten grandchildren; his 12
19great-grandchildren; and his brother, Frederick "Fritz" (Anna)
20Crang; therefore, be it

1    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL
2ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
3Francis B. Crang and extend our sincere condolences to his
4family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
5further
 
6    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
7presented to the family of Francis B. Crang as an expression of
8our deepest sympathy.
