HOUSE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of
3Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of Bradley
4D. Parker, who passed away on February 20, 2020; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Bradley Parker was born in Chicago to Daryl and
6Anita Parker on September 12, 1987; he graduated at the top of
7his class from Whitney M. Young Magnet High School and attended
8South Suburban College; in January of 2006, he began attending
9the University of Missouri-Columbia; in the fall of 2007, he
10began attending Chicago State University, where he received his
11Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration and graduated Cum
12Laude in 2011; he married Ciearo Paige on July 21, 2018; and
 
13    WHEREAS, Bradley Parker was employed at Commonwealth
14Edison and the Social Security Administration in Chicago before
15landing his career job with the Veterans Administration in
162013; he transferred to the Dallas, Texas branch as a Medical
17Support Assistant in 2014; and
 
18    WHEREAS, Bradley Parker committed to his faith at an early
19age, and he recommitted to his faith and joined the Covenant
20United Church of Christ in 2005; and
 
21    WHEREAS, Bradley Parker was preceded in death by his

1grandparents, Ronald Parker, Gloria Parker, and Ezell Bradley;
2his uncle, Alvin Bradley; and his aunt, Maize Parker; and
 
3    WHEREAS, Bradley Parker is survived by his wife, Ciearo
4Parker; his stepdaughter, Marqwayla; his son, Austin; his
5parents; his stepmother, Michele Parker; his mother-in-law,
6Juliet Paige; his father-in-law, Carl Paige; his grandmother,
7Myrtis Bradley; his uncles, Ronald Parker Jr. (Marli), Derrick
8Parker (Janice), Kevin Parker (Jan), and Odell Bradley; his
9aunts, Angela Parker, Patricia O'Neil, and Constance Bradley;
10and numerous great-aunts and uncles, cousins, and dear friends;
11therefore, be it
 
12    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE
13HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that
14we mourn the passing of Bradley D. Parker and extend our
15sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew
16and loved him; and be it further
 
17    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
18presented to the family of Bradley Parker as an expression of
19our deepest sympathy.
