SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Robert Francis "Bob" Ketchum of Lockport,
4who passed away on February 27, 2018; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Bob Ketchum was born in Sublette to Robert and
6Marcella (Gehant) Ketchum; and
 
7    WHEREAS, Bob Ketchum was employed by the Joliet Steel Mill,
8the Collins Street Penitentiary, and was a laborer for Union
9Local #75; and
 
10    WHEREAS, Bob Ketchum was an avid Chicago White Sox fan; he
11loved his dog Moses and enjoyed drinking coffee with his
12friends at the local coffee shop; most of all, he was proud of
13becoming a great-grandfather to Carter; and
 
14    WHEREAS, Bob Ketchum was preceded in death by his parents;
15his sister, Dorothy Dinges; and his longtime friend, Dawn; and
 
16    WHEREAS, Bob Ketchum is survived by his daughter, Cynthia
17(Claude) Williams; his grandson, Claude (Betsy) Williams III;
18his great-grandson, Carter Williams; his siblings, Shirley
19(Edward) Vanisko, Eugene (Kathleen) Ketchum, Donna (Larry)
20Jaros, and Yvonne DeFritos; his brother-in-law, John Dinges;

1his devoted companion, Moses; and numerous nieces and nephews;
2therefore, be it
 
3    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL
4ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
5Robert Francis "Bob" Ketchum, and extend our sincere
6condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved
7him; and be it further
 
8    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
9presented to the family of Bob Ketchum as an expression of our
10deepest sympathy.
