SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Mary C. Ruppert of Alton, who passed away
4on January 2, 2018; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Mary Ruppert was born in Alton to Paul and Frances
6(Wright) Ruppert on January 14, 1950; she married Paul E.
7Broadway in Godfrey on November 1, 2000; and
 
8    WHEREAS, Mary Ruppert began her career in the Trust
9Department at First National Bank, where she stayed for 20
10years; she then worked as the receptionist at Arrow Signs; and
 
11    WHEREAS, She was a member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church in
12Godfrey; and
 
13    WHEREAS, Mary Ruppert was preceded in death by her parents;
14and her brother, Mark Ruppert; and
 
15    WHEREAS, Mary Ruppert is survived by her husband, Paul; her
16siblings, Raymond Ruppert, Wayne (Debbie) Ruppert, Vince
17(Kathy) Ruppert, Dean (Michelle) Ruppert, Joyce Ruppert,
18Steven (Sarah) Ruppert, and Faye Ruppert; and her nieces and
19nephews, Amy (Fernando) Sarabia, Brian (Shara) Ruppert, Darren
20(Gabby) Ruppert, Vince (Cassie) Ruppert Jr., Bridget (Wayne)

6    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL
7ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
8Mary C. Ruppert and extend our sincere condolences to her
9family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it
10further
 
11    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
12presented to the family of Mary Ruppert as an expression of our
13deepest sympathy.
