SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Andrew Lee Northcutt of Valatie, New
4York, formerly of Alton, who passed away on February 18, 2017
5at the age of 80; and
 
6    WHEREAS, Andrew Northcutt was born in Alton to Andrew and
7Evelyn (Baldwin) Northcutt; and
 
8    WHEREAS, Andrew Northcutt received his master's degree
9from Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts and was a
10veteran of the United States Navy, serving in the 1950s; he
11retired from Amica Mutual Insurance Company in 2001; and
 
12    WHEREAS, Andrew Northcutt was an avid outdoor sportsman
13with a passion for hunting and fishing, and was a lifetime
14member of the Wallum Lake Rod and Gun Club; he was a fan of the
15Red Sox and the Patriots; he enjoyed stamp and coin collecting,
16reading, and travelling, especially to Disney World; and
 
17    WHEREAS, Andrew Northcutt was preceded in death by his
18parents; and
 
19    WHEREAS, Andrew Northcutt is survived by his loving wife of
2057 years, L. Jean (Ough) Northcutt; his sister, Darlene

1Hargiss; his daughter, Lee Anne Ladd and her husband Mark; two
2sons, Andrew Northcutt and his wife Debra, and Robert Northcutt
3and his wife Kimberly; nine grandchildren, Heather, Daniel, and
4Hannah Ladd, Cristina Hendrickson, Jessica Alton, and Alissa,
5Joshua, Jacob, and Luke Northcutt; two great-grandsons, Andrew
6and William Hendrickson; and many nieces and nephews;
7therefore, be it
 
8    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL
9ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
10Andrew Lee Northcutt, and extend our sincere condolences to his
11family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
12further
 
13    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
14presented to the family of Andrew Northcutt as an expression of
15our deepest sympathy.
